Uuhhh... the whole world was set to be completely flat with nothing but sandstone and stone about 30 layers down so yeah I guess it's playable but it's really just for creative purposes

Well in DayZ nowadays, most people would kill you if they had the chance, so when playing alone it's really risky to try and be friendly l: when I'm running with a squad though I'll usually try the friendly approach because it intimidates people into not trying anything funny :l.
