Nah, was talking about a VCR to computer/DVD converter thing, like a snazzy, jazzy or something. If they work without hitching, they usually export to vob files, which are a bitch to edit. Saw one with a 1/8" stereo in plug that looked promising, but the reviews were crap..
I've been doing Borderlands, gonna torrent BL2 soon. Gonna wait and see if GTA V plays okay before buying it, still can't around GTA 4's security.

not a huge fan of borderlands myself, got bored of BL2 halfway through-- I've heard decent things about GTAV
BL 1 is really grindy, but it's okay, no glitches so far. Just found out I got the bare minimum to do either 60 fps or 4k in GTAV, don't think I'll do either though, especially when it gets warmer out.
I've only had this 250gb solid state drive for a few months, but it's getting full. Barely even scratched the 2tb drive yet, it's wicked ripping dvd's straight to disk, and the bluray player I got beats all the physical disk encryption tricks... who knew?
I'm not a big believer in solid state drives quite yet, think they've got a ways to go in the area of longevity before the price is justified
I honestly prefer their first album. More "memorable" stuff to me.

2 hours swapping 7 DVDs: 2 hours, the other three were dealing with a 1mb a second dl speed, and a patch that loaded to about 35 of 350MB... and went down again! Had to start over again, pick up that last 350mb patch, thank Gob the alien dish I got reels in the speed!
Kinda scared to go the party, something bad always happens when I go on a vacation of more than a day or two, it seems. Once I'm there, at least I'll be in goodish company
Novadriver are good. Though they only released two albums. They broke up because their bassist and primary song writer suddenly died....though those two albums aren't bad. But they'll probably take a couple listens to REALLY like them. Same with Valis. But they're still around and have 4 albums out.
