Yeah, some people still do it: talk into a recording device, and someone types it out (hopefully using the right form/format). I doubt you could do medical, but in a lab setting, maybe. Could always work for the post office... I made a few bucks being on a consumer research panel - it's cash in hand at the end of the interview/meeting.
