Pitch shifters are great tools, but are often too damn pricey for their own damn good. I had I known the future would've sucked this badly, I would've bought a helluva lot moe stuff from Radio Shack and hoarded schematics.
They're great tools but I feel like they have a really tight niche in which they work effectively, and outside of that niche, become very out of place.
