DayZ is fun l: you just have to be incredibly cautious with other people. I'm convinced shooting on sight comes from a lack of skill in being able to hold people up, cause most people suck dick at dayz. Back in 2012 there were people who knew what they were doing lol

Of course you can. It's as simple as "Don't turn around or I shoot. Drop yer gun" and if they disobey, give them a chest shot with a 7.62 NATO round, insta-knockout, and if they're low on blood they're dead l: either way the situation is dealt with. Too many people think they can turn around and shoot you like they're rambo, and most would rather go down fighting than be robbed and survive l: which is the main problem with the dayz community

Hard to believe a player can persuade you, go to into your inventory, and drop... all, whatever, mugger's choice? If I played, I'd keep heading south or north, towards more civilized areas |:
On the mod you always spawn on the coast where the two major cities are located-- Where all the deathmatching occurs. Further north you get, less populated it is, and the higher the chance you'll run into fully kitted-out people who will just pop you on sight if they see you lol

Actually the water's kinda nasty... they use the same chemicals in disappearing ink, to make the water look clear, when really it's rust colored. Also something for the smell, there's lot's of sulfur in it too.
